The Dream Vehicle is my long term multimedia project as an artist duo WitkowskaVerbunt, consisting of photography, film, prose and music. For this project I have travelled through the Benelux countries on thirteen different occasions in the last five years, together with fellow photographer Rob Verbunt. This personal road trip project resulted in the publishing of a 312 page photobook, multiple solo exhibitions in The Netherlands and Belgium and an upcoming film documentary release in collaboration with Immanuel Bom, Maud Sauer and Martin Verheesen. In the cinematic world we create with The Dream Vehicle, we handle the road as a symbol for life’s road and the inevitable passing of time. This dreamlike world gives room to Rob and I as the protagonists in the story, pursuing love and happiness, examining the ideal form of being.
